Fuel Strainer - DRAIN & CHECK

The fuel system tank sumps and strainer should be drained daily prior to the first flight and after refueling to avoid the accumulation of water or sediment.

The fuel strainer is located on the lower left side of the fire wall, and the strainer drain is accessible through a hole in the lower cowl approximately 3 inches forward of the fire wall.

CAUTION
When draining any amount of fuel, care should be taken to insure that no fire hazard exists before starting engine.
